Today, quality wedding photography has moved far beyond static imagery. For the past several years, I have been on the cutting edge in advancing wedding photography into the cinematic realm. As both my expertise in the film medium and my team has grown, some of the work I am proudest of is the wedding films I produce. A big part of my pride in these arises from the feedback given to me by the couples who have been their subjects. Arranging comprehensive, varied, personalised footage of the rituals of the wedding and its participants, alongside cinematic pans of the landscape and the setting of the wedding— overlaid with a perfect musical score—makes for a wedding record overflowing with life. These films capture emotion in a way not traditionally available to generations past, and mark an exciting step in the future of wedding photography.
